About Enterate Latino
Enterate Latino is the award-winning, longest-running and Latino-owned Spanish-language newspaper in Western Colorado, reaching out to Spanish speakers and Latino families in 6 counties in print distribution and also in digital. Since it was founded in 2012, almost 14 years ago, Enterate Latino’s mission statement has been to serve the rural and linguistically diverse communities in the Western side of the state of Colorado by informing, educating and recognizing the Spanish-speaking and Latino populations with multimedia content in print, digital, e-newsletter and social media channels.
Enterate Latino informs the communities by providing local journalism that readers can trust written originally in Spanish and with the readers in mind, as well as providing regional and statewide news and information. It educates the communities by publishing a special Education Supplement, where local bilingual teachers publish articles and information of general use for the Spanish-speakers, as well as publishing a Health Supplement that gives the readers in-depth content articles focused on health and nutrition. And it recognizes the communities by providing articles of human-interest stories, and publishing person of the month features.
