Its editorial section, footnote4a.org, extends that work into longer-form investigation and analysis of the broader surveillance ecosystem and the legal frameworks governing government use of private mass-surveillance infrastructure. Coverage tracks use and misuse of surveillance systems and related policy and litigation.
